Appeals Process

Appeals Process of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors:

  • If the Application Requirements are incomplete or unsatisfactory to the Registrar, the matter may be referred to the Credentials Committee by the Registrar. [Chiropractic Act; 21(1)]
  • The Credentials Committee, in consultation with the Registrar, will consider the eligibilty of the application. They may make inquiries or request further information at this time. [Chiropractic Act; 21(2)
  • The applicant may submit a written request to refer their application to the Credentials Committee. They may also request an opportunity to appear in front of the Credentials Committee. This request will be granted within 30 days and the applicant may appear with legal counsel. [Chiropractic Act; 18(3)]
