Fee's

For new graduates:

  • Payment of a one-time application fee of $150.00 CDN to the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors payable by credit card prior to JE Exam
  • JE Exam sitting Fee - Regular Sitting fee is $150.00 CDN to the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors payable by credit card Prior to JE Exam
  • All JE Exam sittings administered outside the regular scheduled exam sitting are $300.00
  • Upon successful completion of the JE exam - applicable licensing fees will apply - payable by credit card. First-year dues will be prorated based on the date of registration requested.
  • Should an applicant not pass the JE exam - they may request a re-write at a later date.  An additional JE exam sitting fee will apply
For new registrants moving to NS who are licensed in another Canadian jurisdiction:
  • No application or JE exam fees will apply
  • Upon successful completion of the JE exam - applicable licensing fees will apply - payable by credit card. First-year dues will be prorated based on the date of registration requested.

Examinations

To be considered for registration, candidates applying for registration with the NSCC must successfully complete the following:

  • Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) knowledge-based examinations (within 3 years of application);
  • CCEB Clinical Competency Examinations (within 12 months of application); and
  • NSCC Jurisprudence Examination (within 12 months of application).

Upcoming JE Examinations

Examinations are typically held semi -annually in the spring and July/August.  All applications and documentation must be received 2 weeks prior to the JE Exam.
